Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, we aim to Develop, Align, and Retain the exceptional talent within San Marcos and Hays County.

Youth Leadership Program:

Our program offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to develop leadership skills while gaining insights into the San Marcos community and the future workplace.

S.T.E.A.M. Fair:

Held at San Marcos High School, the S.T.E.A.M. Fair showcases local businesses and employment opportunities in STEM careers, inspiring students to pursue paths in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Summer Externship Program:

The Chamber facilitates summer externships for SMCISD teachers, allowing them to gain firsthand experience in local businesses and integrate real-life business practices into their curriculum.

An annual event for the business community, co-hosted with GSMP, providing insights from key leaders and updates on institutional and regional developments in education and workforce development.
