Ambassadors

Chamber Ambassadors help strengthen the overall relationship with members by assisting with events and boosting awareness of the Chamber in the community. They serve as official greeters at Chamber events, help new businesses get activated with membership, and foster goodwill among all community sectors.

Interested in becoming an Ambassador? The first step is to contact the Chamber and fill out an Application of Interest. Applicants are provided with further details about the time commitment and expectations of serving as an active Ambassador. A committee meets quarterly to review applications and conduct orientations for new members. Applicants who will be considered for membership are notified. After orientation, new participants complete a three-month onboarding period before they are officially designated as Ambassadors and provided with a blue jacket. There is a new Ambassador’s Jacket Ceremony held a couple of times per year.

Ambassadors who do not continue meeting attendance & performance expectations (achieving required points) may be placed on probationary status until they resume meeting active status. The points system is outlined in the Ambassadors Club Handbook and fully discussed during orientation sessions.

Thank you for your interest in the Chamber and the Ambassadors Club! It is a great way to further your professional career and business goals. Contact the Chamber at 512-393-5900 or admin@sanmarcostexas.com for further information.
