Connecting, Informing, and Elevating Professional Women along the I-35 Corridor

The Corridor Women’s Network is a pioneering initiative by the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, crafted to empower and uplift professional women who live and work along the I-35 Corridor, stretching from Austin to San Antonio. Our mission is to foster a vibrant community where women can build meaningful connections, gain valuable insights, and support each other in their professional and personal journeys.

“New Year, New You, New Girlfriends”

There will be a fun shopping scavenger hunt, and a dynamic presentation from Tracey Huguley: “Sparking Joy!” that will help us reconnect with ourselves, shift mindsets, and be energized for the new year.

“Bloom Where You’re Planted”

Plan to attend this Spring luncheon with delicious bites, an inspiring speaker, gardening wisdom, and hands-on fun with plants! Featured speaker: Amy Thomaides, City of San Marcos Assistant Director of Neighborhood Enhancement and Guided planting activity and a take-home keepsake plant.

“Women Who Inspire Us”

This will be an extra-special after-hours event hosted at Texas State University in the spectacular 11th floor ballroom of the JC Kellam Administration Building. Our featured speaker is Dr. Shetay Ashford-Hanserd, who will take us on a deep dive about Living a Life of Service.
