Due to the impact of COVID-19, the City of San Marcos is offering to waive late fees for its utility customers. The waiver will only apply for the next 90 days, but you MUST fill out a waiver and send it back to the city to qualify. Click on the picture below to download and fill out the waiver.

Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area

WSRCA is a community partnership providing no cost recruitment and employment services to businesses and job seekers in the Rural Capital Area of Texas. The nine-county region includes the following counties: Hays, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Lee, Llano and Williamson.

To assist employers and employees during the coronavirus pandemic, WSRCA has put together a longlist of helpful resources.

Rapid Response provides early business-focused intervention assistance designed to transition affected workers to their next employment.

For Workers

For employees who have been impacted by COVID-19, WSRCA can assist them in finding new work or training for a higher-skilled role in related industries.

Wages, Hours and Leave

The U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division is providing information on issues employers and workers face when responding to COVID-19, including wages and hours worked under the Fair Labor Standards Act and job-protected leaved under the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Texas Unemployment Insurance

If your employment has been affected by COVID-19, apply for benefits online using Unemployment Benefits Services.
