Thank you for registering for this InterCity Leadership trip. It is a significant investment of time and money, and the Chamber wants to maximize the experience for you. Details are below, and there is an orientation on March 27

Briefing Book
This is the 2024 Kentucky Briefing Book that contains the full itinerary, logistics details, attendees, speakers, sponsors and more!

FLIGHT CHECK-IN – DAY PRIOR – Monday, April 8
8:55 a.m. The group will be checked in as a whole by the Chamber.

GROUP DEPARTURE – Tuesday, April 9
6:00 a.m. Depart from SM for Austin airport. Long-term parking lot may be FULL; better to be dropped off. Plan on EXTRA TIME to shuttle to the terminal. Please CARPOOL with others. It will help everyone out.

7:00 a.m. Arrive at Austin airport, go to the Southwest counter/kiosk to print YOUR BOARDING PASS (Confirmation #236ZVG) and check your own baggage. Proceed through SECURITY and then meet the group AT THE GATE.

8:15 a.m. Meet up with the group at the GATE.
8:55 a.m. Flight departs from Austin – Southwest Air WN2080 (layover in Houston)
4:40 p.m. Flight arrives in Louisville KY
5:30 p.m. Motorcoach travel to dinner: Merle’s Whiskey Kitchen in Downtown Louisville
8:30 pm. Arrive at 21C Museum Hotel in Downtown Lexington, check in to lodging

GROUP RETURN – Friday, April 12
9:15 a.m. Check out of hotel, board bus, depart from Lexington
3:15 p.m. Arrive at Louisville airport (SDF)
5:30 p.m. Return flight to Austin – Southwest Air WN449 (layover in Orlando)
10:35 pm Land in Austin

Lodging: 21C Museum Hotel in Downtown Lexington (This stands for 21st Century!)
We will check-in as a group the night of April 9.
Your lodging/taxes have been pre-paid. You will need to provide a credit card for any incidental expenses.
Every guest will find a refillable water bottle in your room. There are water filling stations in the hotel for your use. (You will not find bottled water/ice water in our meeting space. Bring your own bottle!)

TIPS:
Tour fees are all pre-paid with your registration. However, please bring some cash to tip the bus driver at the end of the trip ($5-$10 per person is suggested) and for housekeeping at the hotel. Any other location is entirely optional.
