Shining Stars under 40
This prestigious awards program, established in 2011 in partnership with the Chamber and the Daily Record, honors outstanding young professionals under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to their respective fields and the San Marcos community.
The SSU40 Awards recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of young leaders across a diverse range of industries, including business, non-profit management, public service, education, and the arts. These awards highlight individuals who exemplify leadership, community involvement, professional achievements, and a dedication to making a positive impact on San Marcos.
Nominations for the 2025 SSU40 Awards are open from August 7 through the deadline of September 5, 2025.
All community members are invited to nominate exceptional young professionals who are rising leaders making contributions to this community. Use this online nomination form to provide details about your nominee. Nominations will be reviewed by a Selection Committee of past winners, and 2025 winners will be announced in October. SSU40 Award winners will be celebrated and honored at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner & Awards Gala on November 13, 2025, held at the San Marcos Conference Center at Embassy Suites.
