Shining Stars under 40
This prestigious awards program, established in 2011 in partnership with the Chamber and the Daily Record, honors outstanding young professionals under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to their respective fields and the San Marcos community.
The SSU40 Awards recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of young leaders across a diverse range of industries, including business, non-profit management, public service, education, and the arts. These awards highlight individuals who exemplify leadership, community involvement, professional achievements, and a dedication to making a positive impact on San Marcos.
Nominations for the 2024 SSU40 Awards are open from August 1 through the deadline of September 6, 2024.
All community members are invited to nominate exceptional young professionals who deserve recognition for their contributions and leadership. Use this online nomination form to provide detailed information about your nominee’s achievements and contributions. Nominations will be reviewed by the 2024 Selection Committee, comprised of past winners, and 2024 winners will be announced in October. The SSU40 Award winners will be celebrated at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner & Awards Gala, taking place on November 21, 2024, at the San Marcos Conference Center at Embassy Suites.
