Helping Students Become Leaders
Youth Leadership San Marcos fosters mutual understanding, respect, and civic engagement among local high school students and the community at large. The program is designed to encourage students to participate as leaders in their schools and to continue to promote and enhance the quality of life for themselves and their communities as they further their education and begin their careers. The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce believes that this investment in our youth will instill in them the passion and commitment needed to further their community as the next generation of leaders.
San Marcos High School and San Marcos Academy participate closely in the program from the selection of the students to allowing them to participate in the program throughout the year. The program is for sophomores and juniors in High School and is open for applications beginning in the Spring of each year.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2021-2022 class of Youth Leadership San Marcos! All applications and participation forms must be submitted by Friday, September 17, 2021.
