A momentous event is approaching our region: a total solar eclipse will grace the skies on Monday, April 8, 2024. San Marcos lies on the eastern edge of the path of 100% totality. (In San Marcos we will experience around 97% totality.) This rare occurrence will happen around 1:30 p.m. on April 8.
